Hi! I'm Sam Hembury – the human behind Pink Frog Studio. Dad of three, based in Exeter, and probably drinking too much coffee while building websites that actually work.
After over 16 years in the industry, I got tired of watching good businesses get burned by agencies that overpromised and underdelivered. So I started Pink Frog Studio to do things differently.
My approach is simple: be honest, explain things in plain English, and focus relentlessly on results. No jargon. No long contracts. No excuses.
The Story
Pink Frog Studio started with a question: why is it so hard to find a digital agency that actually delivers what they promise?
I kept meeting business owners with the same stories – websites that looked dated and loaded slowly, Google Ads budgets disappearing with nothing to show for it, and agencies that stopped returning calls once the contract was signed.
There had to be a better way. An agency built on honesty, transparency, and results that actually matter. One that treats clients like partners, not invoices.
Today, Pink Frog Studio operates from Exeter, Devon with a clear mission: to help businesses worldwide thrive online. Our clients aren't just getting an agency – they're getting a partner who's as invested in their success as they are.

That's my partner Evie. She runs her own business, Wag & Whinny, and keeps me sane while I juggle client work and three kids. Without her support, Pink Frog Studio wouldn't exist.
When I'm not building websites or obsessing over Google Ads metrics, you'll find us outdoors with the kids, looking after Evie's horses, or trying to convince everyone that hiking is fun.
I started Pink Frog Studio because I genuinely love helping businesses grow online. It's not just work – it's the thing I'd be doing anyway, even if no one paid me. (Please still pay me though.)
